WHAT IS KAMUT?
Kamut (pronounced kuh-moot) Khorasan wheat is a non-hybridized or genetically modified ancient grain originated in Egypt and northeastern Iran, harvested today across the US. We receive our Kamut flour from Montana Flour & Grains. Kamut is packed with nutritional benefits including: low gluten content, high in protein and fiber, and rich in amino acids, selenium, zinc, magnesium, phosphorous, and vitamin B1(thiamin). Kamut flour is known for its buttery and nutty taste, along with a unique firmness in its texture.

HOW DO I STORE MY LBL BREAD?
Our loaves are best enjoyed fresh, stored on the counter at room temperature in their original packaging, for 5-7 days. LBL breads are made fresh to order and delivered no later than 2 days from the time of baking. Because they do not contain any sort of preservatives, they will mold after one week. Shelf life was a main factor in deciding what size loaves we would distribute- our "shmedium" (smallish, medium) loaves are just the right size to last about one week with no waste!
Want it later? Kamut bread freezes beautifully. Tightly wrap individual loaves in plastic wrap and store in a Ziploc Freezer Bag in the freezer for up to 3 months. To thaw, simply set the bread on the counter for 1-2 hours before enjoying.

DO YOU SHIP?
At this time, LBL breads are only available for local delivery in the Charlotte area or from participating Charlotte farmer's markets. In the future, we would love to operate under a larger space and offer pickup, local delivery, and domestic shipping. Thank you for your patience while we work on getting there. Your support means the world!

HOW DO I RECEIVE MY ORDER?
At the moment, online orders are only available for local delivery in the Charlotte area. Flat delivery rates have been calculated based off of proximity to seller. Please note the earliest available delivery date 48 hours from the time of ordering. If your desired delivery date is not available, we will be in contact within 24 hours to reschedule.

IS LOAVES BY LINNIE ALLERGEN-FREE?
Loaves By Linnie is a home bakery. All products are produced in a home kitchen not subject to public health inspection that may also process common food allergens. Some common food allergens are used in our baking such as eggs for egg washing and dairy from butter. Other allergens that may be found in the kitchen include: nuts, wheat, and soy. Please note, although Kamut bread can be a great option for those with gluten sensitivities, it is not gluten-free and therefore not suitable for those with celiac disease. If you are unsure whether or not your gluten sensitivity will be triggered by Kamut, please consult a doctor first. All LBL loaves are packaged with an ingredient list on the back.
